A snowy stream meanders, and meanders, on a cold January morning. Does it think of sediment, nitrogen, and phosphorus loads, when frozen ?

BIO_DPI am currently a Science and Technologies for Phosphorus Sustainability (STEPS) postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, University of Arkansas. Previously, I was a NSF-STEPS scholar at the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, Arizona State University. I have completed my doctoral studies from Pennsylvania State University (main campus- University Park) at the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, where my research has focused on river basin modeling with a goal to improve ecosystem services.

I am looking for faculty opportunities in the domain of food-energy-water nexus where I can apply my expertise in hydrology-soil-crop modeling, AI, machine learning, agricultural nutrient management, environmental impact assessment, GIS, and climate modeling to minimize deterioration of water quality. I am also looking to broaden my research domain and work in urban systems with a plan to improve urban area representation in ecohydrological models, model stormwater / low impact development structures, and reduce nutrient pollution from point or non-point sources.

The Research tab elaborates my research and publications. My CV can be accessed here.
